As a college student, making money between all of the chaos can be challenging. However, chances are you have some spare time to earn a few extra dollars in between managing classes and a social life. Luckily, there are many possibilities and options in this modern digital era. You’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule. Plus, you can pick up extra hours on evenings and weekends when you’re not in class.

Do you find a specific class easy or excel at a particular subject? Consider tutoring a freshman or even one of your peers that might be struggling in a class you found easy. Check with the employment office or a department head at your university, or even other local schools, for opportunities.

From prospective freshman to people just interested in the campus many colleges often have groups of visitors that come to view the historic buildings or sites on the campus grounds and offer a 1-hour tour several times each day. If you like meeting new people and have school pride, being a tour guide is an easy way to earn a few extra dollars without a huge time commitment.

Although some schools reserve teaching assistant jobs for graduate students, there are some universities that offer select teaching assistant positions to undergraduate students in their junior or senior year. Teaching assistants work with students, grade papers, and sometimes teach classes.

Major company are hiring people to promote their brand on college campuses. Influencers play a huge role in modern marketing. It’s a fun way for outgoing students to earn extra money in college and if you’re passionate about that particular brand, you might even get some free merchandise.
